Its amazing how a soldier will fight and give everything for a piece of colored ribbon that symbolizes a country. Our country is not only a certain area of land, of mountains, rivers, and woods, but it is a principle and patriotism is loyalty to that principle.

Remembering Major Mohit Sharma,1PARA SF AC (P), SM (Gallantry), COASM (Gallantry) on his 34th Birthday.
Major Mohit attained martyrdom while fighting the LeT militants in Kupwara on 21st March 2009 in the highest traditions of the Indian Army. He gave a tough fight to the insurgents to defend the mother nation till his last breath. His was cremated with full military honours on 23rd of March which is also known as the “Shaheed Divas”.
As part of Mohit's birthday ceremony, "Major Mohit Sharma AC, SM, Memorial Trust" is setting up a medical health checkup camp at this school for the under privileged children, Tapovan. This school has 250-300 students coming in from households of labourers, carpentars, masons, street vendors etc.
The camp shall have physicians and dentist to check overall health of the students and give medicines as well. Tooth brushes and toothpaste shall also be distributed for improvement of students' Oral hygiene.
